Simon & Schuster Banned Books Week

I am not a fan of censorship.  If you are offended by a genre, hey, don’t read it. Don’t like a singer? Change the station. Like or don’t like, but by God, don’t you DARE tell me what I can or can’t read. Celebrate freedom and read a banned book!!
Unbelievable the books on this list. 😤

    1. Thanks Kim. I was just reading about this lady fighting cancer who got blocked by Trump on Twitter. More censorship. I don’t think he can legally do that; it’s against the first amendment and public servants can’t block someone just because he disagrees with her opinion. Twerp. Did you just post it? Why have I not seen it?

  1. It’s ridiculous how extraordinary books get banned for having the audacity to be thought provoking! The nerve of those authors! How dare they write about topics that will undoubtedly somehow manage to offend at least one person in this world!

In all seriousness, some of the most well-written, most memorable books I’d ever read in my life are on the banned book list. 🙄

      1. BTW, thanks for choosing to follow two of my blogs. Well, actually, only one of those is mine, the other belongs to the two divas and I act as their typist. 🙂

  2. I must admit that I found it a bit amusing to see one of my favorite authors on the list a number of time. No doubt it says something about me… C’est la vie!
I like the posters for Banned Book Week but alas, if I printed one out and posted it in my window, few of my neighbors could read it as it isn’t in French…
