    1. I wish I knew what to do about it. I feel helpless and I hate it. I hate racism, ageism, homophobia, sexism etc.and then these people supposedly do this in the name of God. It’s so stupid and hypocritical. Do they really think Jesus was a pasty skinny white boy? God made all of us equally and loves us all equally. Grrr 😠

    1. If you read my previous comments Kim, you’d see our rants are similar, although your rants are much better, for reasons already told. I say this as I’m eyeballing my bottle of Jamesons. I watched a clip of Rev Traci Blackmon having to be skirted away to safety and hearing the tremor of fear in her voice disgusts me. I come from a long line (since 1740’s) of southerners. My great great great grandmother was a Yankee spy and I am very proud of her. IMO, the south never got over losing the civil war and anyone who says the war had nothing to do with slavery is a liar. I’m just going to stop here before I forget I’m a pacifist. 😈😬😠😩

      1. I think you’re pretty eloquent Cass! I had a wine cooler myself tonight, which I can already tell I’m going to pay for because I feel a migraine coming on. Of course, that might also be because I was yelling at the tv this afternoon.

I didn’t see the clip of Traci Blackmon, but it sounds awful. How horrible to have someone that scared over this!

That’s quite the proud Southern family history you have! And you’re right. Anyone who says that the Civil War had nothing to do with slavery is in denial.😑

  1. That sweet stuff gives me a migraine. I can’t do it anymore. Now, beer and bourbon, that’s what does it for me… of course I am Irish πŸ˜‚

Do you know of Rev Blackmon? Talk about eloquent. And reverend Barber was on MSNBC tonight too. Love that man. Caffeine will help the headache in the morning sweet funny friend. Boy if we were superheroes, we’d be back to back all the time!
