Book reviews and the occasional thoughts on life
This author was recommended to me by my friendly librarian. (Love them). I wanted something meaty with a strong female protagonist in a police procedural. (Picky? Who, me?) and easy on the romance. I got what I wanted and more. I finished it just now while getting supper ready. I’m sure the smoke alarm will shut off soon (its supposed to look like that, it’s called blackened fettuccine).
I’m going to start reading the next book in this series right now.
